MUSIC THEORY TUTORING
Music Theory and Aural Skills

Lessons will cover all aspects of playing the saxophone. Under the three tenants of Tone, Technique and Tunes, students will be able to succeed in their band classes and gain the fundamental skills needed for life long musicianship. Students will work towards appropriate tone, scale preparation, extended techniques, etudes, 1-2 Standard works and learn effective practice strategies.
Beginning Band Lessons
$50 - 1 Hour
$30 - 30 Minutes
These lessons are geared towards new music students and will refine the skills they learn in beginning band. Half of the lesson will be used to learn how to read music notation, and the other half will be gaining skills on the instrument.

Learning about the mechanics of how music works can help any musician reach the next level. New students we will work on how to understand and interpret the language of music. More advanced students will work on rhythm, harmony, ear training and theoretical concepts covered in AP-Music Theory, College Theory & Aural Skills classes and Choral All-State Theory Exams.
